PPI launches website, confab theme
IN a year-end and thanksgiving reception, trustees Elnora Cueto and Isagani Yambot led the toast as the new PPI site, www.philpressinstitute.com, and design of the 16th National Press Forum were unveiled.
A new category in the Civic Journalism Community Press Awards, Best in Culture and Arts Reporting, was also announced.
Articles by Isagani Yambot and Vergel Santos also set the tone of the theme of the 16th National Press Forum and Membership Meeting on April 23-25, 2012, which coincides with the Institute’s 48th founding year and 25th year since reactivation.
President Benigno S. Aquino III has been invited keynote speaker.
