Carcel and company win Kartzone Endurance race

KARTING prodigy Juan Antonio “Tonyo” Carcel once again showed off his driving skills as he teamed up with his sister Kali, Patrick Gandionco and Chino Macachor to win the Kartzone Endurance Race last Saturday at the Kartzone race track in barangay  Panagdait.

Carcel, who is back to kart racing after taking several months off to focus on his studies, helped anchor Team Carcel in the grueling race as they took the checkered flag in six hours and 15.009 seconds.

In that time, the squad churned out a whopping 601 laps to demolish the rest of the field.

In second place, 17 seconds behind, was Team Hilton of Peterson Lil while Team Tiktilaok, led by Jess Garcia and Lord Seno, grabbed third place honors. The rest of the participants were Team CRV and Team Rec. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
