Man who killed, cooked dog arrested in Port Area
MANILA, Philippines – A man who went viral on social media after killing and cooking a dog was arrested by a team from the local government of Manila on Thursday noon.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno presented to the public Jovie Lebrando, 44.
According to Moreno, a netizen forwarded him the Facebook post about the action of Lebrando around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Acting on this, agents of the Special Mayor’s Reaction Team arrested Lebrando at 12:55 p.m. in Barangay 654, Port Area, Manila.
Lebrando will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act No. 8485 or the Animal Welfare Act.
