MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila and several provinces in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds on Tuesday night, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In a thunderstorm advisory released 5:20 p.m., Tuesday, Pagasa said Metro Manila, and provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan, and Cavite are expected to experience moderate to heavy rain showers in the next two hours.
Pagasa said Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon are also experiencing heavy to intense rain showers with lightning and strong winds.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” Pagasa said.
