Dead man found floating in Tondo river

MANILA, Philippines — A cadaver of an unidentified man was found floating in a river in Tondo, Manila on Thursday morning.


Raxabago police station reported that a minor was collecting trash for their junk shop when he discovered the body floating in Estero De Sunog Apog River in Barangay 172, Zone 15, Gagalangin, Tondo at 6:30 a.m.

Police said the victim was 50 to 60 years old and about 5’3” tall.


Police Corporal Mark de Guzman, of the Manila Police District Homicide section, said the police will be conducting further investigation on the death of the victim. /jpv
