Former teen actress arrested in buy-bust ops in Cavite

MANILA, Philippines — Former teen actress Angela Garcia Bobis, also known as Angela Zamora, has been arrested in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor, Cavite.

In a report by Bacoor City Police Station (CPS), Bobis and Floro Colina Lopez were arrested last Thursday, July 11 at Barangay Mambog 4 in Bacoor, Cavite. 

Bobis’ live-in partner Vladymir Bersana, together with Jovencio Isler and Christian Lawrence Macanlalay, were also nabbed by the Bacoor police, a report from Radyo INQUIRER said. 

Bacoor CPS said it seized 10.08 grams of shabu worth P68,544 from the suspects. 

Bobis was part of ABS-CBN’s Star Circle Batch 5 which was introduced in 1997. She starred in 1998 films like “Gangland,” “Ang Lahat ng Ito ay Para Sa’yo” and “Nagbibinata.” /je
