DID YOU KNOW: The Indolence of the Filipinos

05:00 AM July 15, 2019

Jose Rizal’s “Sobre la idolencia de los Filipinos” (The Indolence of the Filipinos) was published in La Solidaridad’s July 15 to Sept. 15 issues in 1890.

The essay was divided into five parts and was a response to the Spanish colonial view that Filipinos were lazy.
