MANILA, Philippines – The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and the Ayala Foundation Incorporated signed on Friday a Memorandum of Agreement for the “Pulis Magiting” program which recognizes law enforcers who are remarkably performing their tasks.
The program also aims to provide rewards for police officers who went beyond their duties to help the needy.
NCRPO director Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, Ayala Foundation President Ruel Maranan and Chooks To Go President Ronald Mascariñas spearheaded the ceremonial signing of the agreement.
Police Cpl. Claro Fornis of Makati Police Community Precinct-1 was the first to receive the recognition and reward from the program after he became a guardian to Angela Perez, high school student, whose parents are in jail for drug cases.

Eleazar said police chiefs and station commanders must task their subordinates to show good deeds.
“I would like to urge all the Commanders to effectively supervise their subordinates. Iwasan gumawa ng anumang bagay na makakasira sa ating organisasyon. Continue to guide them to be good examples to the public,” Eleazar said in a statement./ac
