ILIGAN CITY, Philippines—Three days after massive flashfloods spawned by Tropical Storm “Sendong” ravaged this city, at least 80 decomposing bodies, which have not been claimed by their relatives, will be buried in a mass grave Monday, according to a local official.

Melvin Anggot, city information officer, said the bodies were already in advanced stage of decomposition and were emitting offensive smell.

Anggot said the burial will be held at the Bugaan Old Cemetery any time Monday.
