Iligan evacuees running out of food—priest

ILIGAN CITY, Philippines—Families who evacuated to shelters after flashfloods spawned by Tropical Storm “Sendong” devastated large areas of this city on Friday have run out of food, a Catholic priest said Monday.

Fr. Nasser Zaragosa of the San Lorenzo Ruiz parish, which serves as temporary shelter of some 200 families who lost their homes to the flood, said some of the evacuees had not taken their lunch Monday.
