CAUAYAN CITY – Two suspected drug dealers were shot dead by policemen during a buy-bust operation here on Wednesday evening.

Killed were Eduardo Barroga, alias Junior, and Butch Felipe, both tricycle drivers.

Police said they were tipped off that the two had been selling shabu (crystal meth), which led operatives from the Cauayan police station, Regional Intelligence Division and Regional Anti-Drug Enforcement Unit to launch a buy-bust operation.

The two drug suspects then sensed that they were dealing with a police undercover agent that resulted in a gunfight at Barangay Bacareno.
