Fire hits Pasay residential area
MANILA, Philippines — Eleven houses in Pasay City were gutted in a fire that engulfed a residential area Saturday afternoon, authorities reported.
Emergency dispatch service TXTFire Philippines reported that the fire hit several structures between 7th and 8th Street in Barangay 183 Villamor at around 2:16 p.m.
The blaze reached third alarm four minutes after it broke out and was raised to fourth alarm 2:30 p.m.
According to the Pasay City Fire Station, the fire started at the house of certain Lawrence de Jesus.
The fire was placed under control after more than 30 minutes and was completely extinguished at 4:25 p.m.
Police said there were no reported injuries or deaths.
