Suspected drug pusher slain in Laguna

SAN PEDRO CITY — A suspected drug pusher was killed in a buy-bust operation in Biñan City in Laguna province on Saturday morning.

A report from the regional police office said the buy-bust happened around 1 a.m. in Barangay Canlalay.


The suspect Angelito Villafania allegedly pulled out a .38-caliber gun when he realized it was a sting operation.

Police returned fire and hit the suspect who died on the way to the Ospital ng Biñan.


Police said they recovered 16 sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) from the suspect. Maricar Cinco (Editor: Leti Boniol)
