PNP ‘dead serious’ in going after rogue cops with reform program
ZAMBALES, Philippines – The Philippine National Police (PNP) is “dead serious” in going after erring police officers and personnel through its reformation program, PNP chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde said on Wednesday.
At the closing ceremony of the reformation program for rogue policemen, Albayalde said the PNP would not tolerate even the minor offenses committed by policemen.
“It is only now that we are dead serious sa ginagawa nating ito.We have to stress sa ating mga kapulisan na even minor offenses di natin palalampasin,” Albayalde told reporters here after the closing ceremony in Subic.
Recently, the PNP concluded its 30-day reformation program called Focused Reformation and Reorientation and Moral Enhancement for Police Officers In Line with Cleansing Efforts (FORM POLICE) which aims to intensify the internal cleansing drive.
Albayalde said the program sought the transformation of policemen who committed minor offenses including those who were absent and tardy.

Albayalde said they are mulling to create another FORM POLICE site but noted that they still need to renovate its current training school.
Fifty-three erring police officers graduated from the program and were awarded at the PNP Training Service in Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
