Cops nab 5 drug suspects; confiscate P544-K ‘shabu’ in QC

MANILA, Philippines — Five suspects landed in jail while 80 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P544,000 had been seized during in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City on Monday night.

The suspects were identified as Rosalyn Batas alias Madam, 27; Ephraine Saraza, 37; Emmanuel Saraza, 23; Atanacious Sta. Cruz, 33; and Gerson Sanchez, 23.


Aside from shabu, police also seized a black Nissan Patrol vehicle used for the  illegal drug transactions and marked money worth P31,500.

The drug suspects were brought to Quezon City police station while charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against them. (Editor: Jonathan P. Vicente)
