CSC career service exam passers may now claim certificates
MANILA, Philippines — Passers of the March 17 Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test, professional and subprofessional levels, may now claim their Certification of Eligibility, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced Friday.
The examination held simultaneously in more than 60 cities and municipalities in the country, had a total of 27,944 passers who are now included in the CSC’s Register of Eligibles.
The Certification of Eligibility, printed on CSC letterhead, should be requested at the CSC Regional Office with the jurisdiction of the examinee’s testing center.
The CSC said passers must personally claim their certificate, and representatives are not allowed to claim it on their behalf.
The certification printed on CSC letterhead is free and valid for two years, according to CSC. Passers should present at least one valid ID, along with the application receipt and/or the CSC official receipt, if available.
Exam passers may also request for Certification of Eligibility printed on security paper and has no validity period, the CSC said. They must submit a filled out Eligibility or Exam Records Request Form and Declaration Form, which may be downloaded from the CSC website, along with a 1×1 picture with full name tag and signature, two valid IDs, and payment of P100 per copy.
Meanwhile, passers who are presently based in another region or remote areas within the region may personally claim their Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional or Field Office near their residence or workplace.
The CSC said passers should send a written request to the CSC Regional Office with jurisdiction over the testing venue where they took the examination to forward the certification to their preferred Regional or Field Office. (Editor: Eden Estopace)
