LOOK: Imee, family pose beside portrait of ex-President Marcos in Malacañang
MANILA, Philippines — Back in Malacañang for the oath-taking of senator-elect Imee Marcos and her son Ilocos Norte governor-elect Matthew Joseph Manotoc, the Marcos family took the opportunity to pose with the portrait of former president Ferdinand Marcos.
The Marcos family was in Malacañang on Tuesday to witness the oath-taking of the elected candidates endorsed by the Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) in the midterm polls before President Rodrigo Duterte.
Among the members of the Marcos clan who attended the ceremony were former First Lady and Ilocos Norte Rep. Imelda Marcos and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

“Back in Malacañang for @ManangImee’s (Imee Marcos) oath-taking with President Duterte. We could hardly contain our excitement seeing her finally fulfill her dream of serving our people in the Senate,” said Bongbong Marcos in a separate post on Twitter.
