Duterte appoints 20 new judges

MANILA, Philippines—President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed 20 new judges, including an Oriental Mindoro prosecutor still recuperating from a gun attack last June 10.

The wounded prosecutor, Josephine Caranzo, is now regional trial court (RTC) judge in Calapan City.

Aside from her, also appointed were Vismanos-Nabua, Criisma R. – RTC 73, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan; Baring Tuvera, Purificacion A. – RTC 23, Trece Martires, Cavite Luna, Gaysol C. – RTC 130, Trece Martires, Cavite.

Desuasido-Gill, Jean Susan V. – RTC 131, Trece Martires, Cavite; Banatin, Jaime E. – RTC 152, Biñan City, Laguna; Quijano, Vernard V. – RTC 153, Biñan City, Laguna; Rafa, Dennis J. – RTC 154, Biñan City, Laguna.
