Drug suspect slain in Olongapo buy-bust
OLONGAPO CITY – A drug suspect was killed during a buy-bust operation here on Monday, police said.
Police Maj. Gerald Glodo Fernandez, Police Station 3 commander, said an unidentified man was shot dead after engaging police officers in a gunfight in Barangay East Tapinac at about 4:30 a.m.

Investigators said the armed suspect sensed that he was selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal methamphetamine) to a police undercover agent that led to a shootout.
The suspect, who sustained gunshot wounds to his head and body, died on the spot.
Another drug suspect identified as Joven Dela Fuente, 19, managed to escape during the operation.
