Tricycle no match for bus in collision: 2 dead

GAMU, Isabela—Two persons were killed and another was injured in a collision between a tricycle and a bus at the village of Gubang here on Saturday (June 15), according to police.

A Florida bus bound for Naguilian town in Isabela province struck the tricycle after overtaking another vehicle.

The tricycle driver, Eric Bagauisan, and his passenger, Jhong Madayag, were killed. Another passenger, Renante Gallato, was injured. They were headed to the village of Upi.
