MANILA, Philippines — The policeman, tagged in the shooting of a 6-year-old boy in Caloocan City, was dismissed from his post on Friday.
In an order signed by National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, Cpl. Rocky Delos Reyes was “guilty” of shooting Gian Habal on April 28.

The decision stated that Delos Reyes failed to present evidence to disprove that he shot Habal.
“The respondent failed to present controverting evidence to disprove the alleged unlawful acts of indiscriminate firing. His reliance on denial and self-serving evidence are untenable and cannot be given due consideration,” the order read.
