STILL MISSING: Bry Nazareno

MANILA, Philippines — The wife of a missing diver last seen in Amos Rock, Tubbataha Reef in Palawan remained hopeful as search operations for him went into high gear.

“WE WILL find him,” Karrots Nazareno, the wife of missing diver Bry Nazareno, said in a Facebook post last June 8.

According to Karrots, her husband was last seen on June 3 around 3:34 p.m. in Tubbataha Reef, as he went on a dive trip with a friend and the Squires Bingham Group aboard the Palausport.

Karrots added in the post that as the group was 11 minutes into the dive, as they were doing their ascent, they noticed that Bry was not in the group.

“A search was immediately conducted that afternoon, the Ranger Station was notified as well as the Governor’s office to request for emergency assistance,” Karrots said.

“We are working closely with the Office of the Governor in Palawan, The Philippine Navy, The Philippine Air Force, The Philippine Coast Guard, the Tubbataha Management Office and the team of PalauSport and Squires Bingham Sports,” Karrots added.

“There is a chance he may be drifting along the Sulu Sea, PLEASE DON’T STOP PRAYING,” Karrots said.

She added that if anyone has some leads to the whereabouts of her husband, they may report to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Office – Palawan at 09178161072.

“We will do our best to keep everyone updated and stop any speculations coming from other sources as we are still trying to find Bry. Please help us share this and continue to keep him in your prayers,” the wife of the diver said.
