Waitress busted in QC drug sting

MANILA, Philippines – Police arrested a waitress who yielded P168,000 worth of shabu concealed in a pack of cigarettes during an anti-illegal drugs operation in Quezon City Tuesday night.

The Quezon City Police District’s Batasan police station said that Michelle Castillo, 30, of Camarines Sur was arrested during a buy-bust operation along Matapang Street in Barangay Payatas-B.


Aside from the 25 grams of shabu, likewise recovered from Castillo were marked peso bills and P25,000 cash.

Castillo is locked up at the Batasan police station pending the filing of appropriate charges.  (Editor: Gilbert S. Gaviola)
