Roque: Whistleblowers to file plunder cases vs PhilHealth execs over ‘ghost’ dialysis
MANILA, Philippines — Former party-list congressman and presidential spokesman Harry Roque said Thursday whistleblowers on “ghost” dialysis treatments allegedly being paid by the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) will file cases against agency officials.
In a text message to INQUIRER.net, Roque answered in the affirmative when asked if whistleblowers Edwin Roberto and Liezel Santos, former employees of WellMed Dialysis & Laboratory Center Corp. (WellMed), will take legal action versus PhilHealth executives.
Asked what cases they will file, he said: “Plunder against all those responsible in Philhealth and their cohorts.”
Roque said he will stand as counsel to both Roberto and Santos. (Editor: Katherine G. Adraneda)
