PNP appoints 4 senior officers to new posts

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police Gen. Oscar Albayalde has approved the appointment of four senior officers to new posts in a minor reorganization in the PNP leadership, spokesperson Police Col. Bernard Banac Tuesday.

In a press statement, Banac said Albayalde has approved the designation of the officers upon the recommendation of the PNP Senior Officers Placement and Promotion Board effective Monday.

The reorganization was triggered by recent retirements of some PNP officers, said Banac.

According to Banac, Brig. Gen. Dennis Agustin is now acting director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) from being Deputy Director for Administration of the Central Visayas police.

Brig. Gen. Carlito Feliciano, meanwhile, became Deputy Director of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations in Eastern Mindanao.

Col. Ronaldo De Jesus was appointed to the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations in Eastern Mindanao from being Deputy Director for Administration at the PNP-ACG, said Banac.

Col. Ildebrandi Usana from the Office of the Chief PNP was transferred as acting Deputy Director for Administration of the Central Visayas police.
