Commuters in Makati City should brace themselves for heavy traffic between Friday and Sunday noon as some roads will be closed for a procession and victory party.

An advisory from Makati City Hall said that traffic rerouting would be implemented in parts of J.P. Rizal Avenue and A.P. Reyes Avenue from 1 to 7 p.m. on Friday for the Flores de Mayo procession.

Participants will start at the city hall quadrangle and pass through Hormiga, Trabajo, Hippodromo Streets and A.P. Reyes Avenue toward the Globe Circuit Event Grounds.
