MANILA, Philippines — Six drug suspects were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Makati City that yielded shabu (crystal meth) worth P32,500 on Wednesday afternoon.
Law enforcers from the Makati police station nabbed Rannie Baldomar, 50, basketball referee; Vincent Velasco, 35, alias Butingting; and Elmer Ramat, 37, along Palawan Tunnel, Barangay Pitogo, at 12:10 p.m.
Seized from them were marked money worth P500 and 20 pieces of plastic sachets containing suspected shabu worth P5,000.
Meanwhile, police also arrested Marlon Guimnatan, 43, jeepney driver; William Dagapuro, 52; and Eric Guimbatan, 45, at Garcia street in Barangay South Cembo at 3:50 p.m.
Confiscated from the suspects were 55 transparent plastic sachets of shabu valued at P27,500 and marked money worth P500.
Police also discovered that all suspects were included in Makati City police’s drugs watchlist.
Charges for violating Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects. (Editor: Jonathan P. Vicente)
