1 killed, 1 injured in gun attacks in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY – A person was killed while another was injured in separate gun attacks in Pangasinan province over the weekend, police said.

Rolando Fabia, 61, was sitting inside his vulcanizing shop in Barangay Nancayasan, Urdaneta City when he was shot by a motorcycle-riding gunman on Sunday.

Police said Fabia survived the attack and is being treated at a hospital.

In Lingayen town, Zaldy Adaliga, 52, was shot four times at a cockpit arena on Saturday.

Police said the gunman waited for Adaliga and casually left, boarding a motorcycle after the attack.

Adaliga was brought to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
