Dead woman found inside sack
MANILA, Philippines — A 22-year-old woman who had disappeared from her room was found dead on Saturday in a building’s storage room in Muntinlupa City, her body stuffed inside a sack.
Sheva Adare Mae Prementil, an assistant supervisor of a supermarket in Alabang, bore wounds in the stomach, head and hand. Her shirt had also been rolled up, exposing her chest.
According to the Muntinlupa police which had tagged her case as a crime of passion, Prementil’s body was found in a corner of a storage room not far from her house at Purok 2, Barangay Cupang, around 11 a.m.
Investigators said they were looking for her suitor and neighbor, Alexander Morpuz, who lived in the building where the body was discovered. He was nowhere to be found after the killing.
Prementil’s roommate said that she went looking for her after she found blood on the victim’s bed on Saturday morning.
