Watch out for rain on Sunday
MANILA, Philippines – The country will generally have cloudy skies and rainshowers on Sunday due to various weather conditions, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its 4 a.m. weather report, Pagasa said that Cagayan Valley, Eastern Visayas, Aurora and Quezon would have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by a frontal system.
Meanwhile, the effects of the southwesterly surface windflow will be felt over Region 4A and Western Visayas, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Lastly, Pagasa said Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Due to the weather disturbances, Pagasa warned the public to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. /cbb
