MANILA, Philippines — Opposition Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV on Friday belittled President Rodrigo Duterte’s claims that he was behind an ouster plot against the Chief Executive and that he has properties hidden under other people’s names.

Henyo ka talaga, Duts,” he added.

Duterte earlier threatened to summon Trillanes’ 84-year-old mother over alleged anomalous dealings with the Philippine Navy. The President also accused Trillanes of having offshore accounts. Trillanes denied both as baseless claims.

In a speech in Davao the night after Peter Joemel Advincula or “Bikoy” retracted his drug allegations against Paolo Duterte, Manases Carpio and Senator-elect Christopher “Bong” Go, the President lashed at Trillanes anew and called him “walang hiya” (shameless).

At ‘yang mga black propaganda eventually the truth will come out,” Duterte said.

Advincula, who claimed to be “Bikoy” of the “Totoong Narcolist” videos, alleged in May that members and allies of the Duterte family had been receiving drug money from a drug syndicate.

Appearing with ranking Philippine National Police officials on Thursday, Advincula bared his claims were fabricated and allegedly directed by Trillanes and the Liberal Party to overthrow Duterte and install Vice President Leni Robredo as President.
