MANILA, Philippines — Peter Joemel Advincula, the man claiming to be “Bikoy,” went through booking procedures at Camp Crame on Thursday, a day after he surrendered to the Northern Police District of the National Capital Region Police Office.

Advincula, who said his earlier accusations that some close allies and relatives of President Rodrigo Duterte are linked to illegal drugs were false, was assisted by police officers as he went through booking procedures at the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.

Advincula has standing warrants of arrest for estafa and large-scale illegal recruitment cases in Benguet province and Baguio City.

PNP chief Police General Oscar Albayalde said the warrants will be returned to its court of origin as part of police procedures.

Advincula claimed to be Bikoy in the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” (The True Narcolist) video series uploaded in metrobalita.net and said the videos were orchestrated by the Liberal Party “under the handling” of Senator Antonio Trillanes.

Albayalde said the PNP will investigate the claims of Advincula against personalities he divulged were allegedly involved in the creation of the videos. (Editor: Julie Espinosa)
