MANILA, Philippines – Former senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. entered the winners’ circle of the senatorial race while reelectionist senator Bam Aquino dropped to 13th spot based on the Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) latest partial and official tally.
As of 7:20 p.m. Friday, Comelec data showed that Revilla garnered 13,442,578 votes, and climbed from 13th to 12th place.
Aquino, meanwhile, slipped from 12th to 13th spot with 13,384,293 votes.
Reelectionist Senator Cynthia Villar continued to lead the Senate race with 23,610,580, followed by fellow reelectionist Senator Grace Poe with 20,711,849 votes.

The Comelec, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), has so far received 146 out of 167 Certificates Of Canvass from the May 13 midterm elections.
