Nancy Binay asks: Can remaining votes still affect senatorial results?
MANILA, Philippines — As more election returns are transmitted, reelectionist senator Nancy Binay, who is in the 12th spot in the senatorial race, asked Wednesday night if the remaining votes can still affect the results.
As of 7:44 p.m., data from the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) transparency server show that Binay is 12th with 14,282,520 votes.
Behind her in the 13th spot is fellow reelectionist senator JV Ejercito who has 14,045,547 votes, separating the two candidates by 236,973 votes.
“Friends, patulong (please help). It’s been three days at baka napudpod na ang Math ko (my Math is running out),” Binay said in a tweet.
“With more or less 3% of precinct left to count, is it still possible to significantly influence the results?” she asked.

No information on the number of remaining votes, however, is available.
Ejercito, for his part, has found humor in his exclusion from the top 12 of the senatorial race.
