Tito Sotto’s son Gian leads vice mayoralty race in Quezon City
MANILA, Philippines — Gian Sotto, the son of Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, is leading the vice mayoralty race in Quezon City.
According to the City Board of Canvassers, Sotto has received 371,001 votes compared to his closest opponent, Jopet Sison, who has received 333,032 votes.
Actor Roderick Paulate is also trailing with 108,847 votes followed by Allan Bantillo (7,646 votes), Cinderella Ladisla (2,700 votes), and Rolando Jota (1,965 votes).
The results came from 1,441 of the 1,487 clustered precincts in the city. (Editor: Eden Estopace)
