LIST: Road closures for staging of ballot boxes in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Motorists should take alternate routes as some roads will be closed to give way for staging of ballot boxes in San Andres Sports Complex in Malate, Manila on Monday.

In an advisory, the Manila Police District – Traffic Enforcement Unit (MPD-TEU) said the following roads will be closed at 6 p.m.:

• Stretch of San Andres St. from Adriatico St. to LM Guerrero St., Malate, Manila.
• Stretch of Leveriza St., from Quirino Avenue to San Andres St., Malate, Manila.

Meanwhile, MPD advised motorists to use the following alternate routes:

• All vehicles coming from Roxas Blvd. utilizing San Andres St. should turn right to Adriatico St. to point of destination.
• All vehicles coming from Taft Ave/Quirino Ave. utilizing San Andres St. should turn right to LM Guerrero St. to point of destination.

All vehicles utilizing Leveriza St., bound for San Andres St. should turn left or right to Quirino Ave. to point of destination. (Editor: Julie Espinosa)
