Gordon casts vote in Olongapo City; reveals bets for senators

OLONGAPO CITY — Senator Richard Gordon went home here to cast his vote at the East Tapinac Elementary School, one of the designated polling centers in the city.

Gordon was accompanied by wife, Kate Gordon, who also cast her vote at the same polling center.

In an interview, Gordon said he voted for “intelligent candidates” for senators.

“Matatalino, magagaling, may experience, magaling magsalita, may puso sa bayan, matatalino na magaling sa debate, hindi magnanakaw, hindi nangunguha ng pera ng bayan at syempre ‘yung madaling lapitan ng tao,” Gordon told the Inquirer.

He said he also voted for the person who helped Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, referring to former Senator Juan Ponce Enrile.

He also mentioned Raffy Alunan and reelectionist Sonny Angara as among the senatorial candidates he voted for. (Editor: Leti Z. Boniol)
