Pet dogs make appearances in precincts during Election Day

A voter’s four pet dogs followed him up until his polling precinct in Davao during the midterm elections on Monday.

Jun Uy’s beloved pets were spotted outside the clustered precinct, one of them even climbing Jun as he sat waiting in line.

Meanwhile, at the Atlag Elementary School in Malolos, Bulacan, YouScooper Ian Centeno captured a dog accompanying his owner all the way into the voting room.

The dog lay quietly by the feet of his owner as he filled out his ballot.

Ian said that the Board of Election Inspectors and poll watchers did not prohibit the dog from entering because it did not disrupt other voters.  (GMA Eleksyon 2019)
