MANILA, Philippines — Mayoralty candidate Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso cast his vote early Monday in Tondo, Manila, for the national and local elections.
Domagoso arrived at his polling precinct in Manuel L. Quezon Elementary school at about 7:30 a.m. His running mate Manila Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna was set to vote in Sampaloc at about 8 a.m.
Domagoso is running against incumbent mayor Joseph Estrada and former Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim.

Among the platforms of Domagoso, if elected, is to reclaim Manila from Estrada whom he says is someone who, though born in the city, has lived most of his life elsewhere. (Editor: Cenon B. Bibe Jr.)
