PDEA seizes P164K worth of illegal drugs from 9 suspects in Malate hotel

MANILA, Philippines — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)- Special Enforcement Service seized P164,500 worth of illegal drugs from nine suspects during a buy-bust operation in a hotel in Malate, Manila on Wednesday.

In a report, PDEA identified the suspects as Jetrick Brianne Santos, 27; Jezreel Joseph Silva, 30; Harley De Jesus, 25; Mary Rose Santos, 30; Ryan Arvin Tanada, 31; Ralph Ivan Manalang, 22; Nurshida Sabdani, 24; Ma. Olivia Dela Llana, 22; and Calugay Mayumi, 23.

Confiscated were 43 pieces of suspected ecstasy tablets with a street value of P107,500, three sachets of kush worth P7,000, liquid ecstasy valued at P30,000, four bottles of ketarol worth P20,000, and drug paraphernalia.

The suspects will face charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /ee
