Pagasa watching 3 LPAs around Philippine archipelago
MANILA, Philippines — The weather bureau is monitoring two low pressure areas (LPAs) near Luzon and another skirting the Philippine area of responsibility east of Mindanao.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon due to the trough of two LPAs.
One was spotted 195 kilometers southwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur, while another was spotted 335 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan.
The third LPA was last spotted 1,120 kilometers east of Mindanao.
All the three weather disturbances are not expected to intensify into tropical cyclones.
Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy to partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers. /cbb
