Roxas: LP has nothing to do with ‘Bikoy’ videos
LEGAZPI CITY — Senatorial candidate Mar Roxas said Friday that the Liberal Party has nothing to do with the spread of the ‘Bikoy’ videos that linked family members of President Duterte to the narcotics trade in the country.
“We have no such activities,” Roxas told the press in this city. “I am running under my platform focused on the economy, price watch, and growth and generation of jobs.”
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested a blogger allegedly involved in the ‘Bikoy’ videos Thursday.
The series of videos alleged that former Davao City Mayor Paolo Duterte and Veronica “Kitty” Duterte were involved in the illegal drugs trade.
The videos also alleged that former Special Assistant to the President, Christopher “Bong” Go, lawyer Manases Carpio, and other politicians and businessmen were also connected to the drugs trade.
