MANILA, Philippines — Passengers affected by the series of Cebu Pacific flight cancellations can not only have their flights rebooked or have their tickets refunded, they will also get one local roundtrip ticket for free from the airline.
“They will each receive a roundtrip ticket para makabawi naman po kami,” Charo Logarta-Lagamon, Cebu Pacific spokesperson, said in an interview over Radyo INQUIRER on Tuesday.
“It’s the least we can do dahil marami po kaming naabala at naagrabyado na pasahero and it’s the least we can do,” she added.
Lagamon said the free roundtrip ticket could be used to any local destination.
For their existing bookings, Lagamon said, the affected passengers have the option to rebook their flights, get a full refund or place the cost of the ticket in a travel fund.
“We are trying to help as best as we can the affected passengers,” she said.
“We cannot stop po apologizing because at the end of the day, naka-abala po kami. Again, we are very sorry,” Lagamon added.
Cebu Pacific earlier said a total of 160 flights were cancelled from April 28 to May 10 due to a “choked” network.
