April 28 to May 1: Turumba Festival
A religious festival at Pakil town in Laguna province in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows of Turumba.
Residents and devotees from nearby provinces venerate the seven sorrows of the town’s patroness.
Activities include a procession, street dancing and folk dancing competition, trade fair and wall painting contest.
April 28 to May 1:Bangus Festival
Bangus, Dagupan City’s main product, takes center stage in a series of festivities.
The final week of the monthlong festival features the Bangusan Street Party, which drew a million visitors in 2018.
This year’s performers include Parokya ni Edgar, Juan Karlos, This Band, Spongecola and Ben&Ben.
April 28 to May 6: Bantayog Festival
The province of Camarines Norte pays homage to Filipino heroes with the theme, “Nagkakaisang CamNorteño Tungo sa Bagong Siglo.” Camarines Norte’s 99th founding anniversary is celebrated at the Jose Rizal monument. Other activities include a variety show, governor’s night, grand festival parade and street dancing competition.
