Magnitude 4.2 quake shakes Surigao del Norte anew
MANILA, Philippines—A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck Surigao del Norte anew on Saturday, the Philippine Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake’s epicenter was recorded at 65 kilometers southeast of the municipality of General Luna, and was of tectonic origin.

The quake struck at 7:10 a.m., and had a depth of 7 kilometers (km), Phivolcs said.
The quake comes a day after the municipality experienced 11 tremors, with the highest recorded at magnitude 5.5 magnitude. /muf
