MANILA, Philippines— A magnitude 4.0 earthquake rocked the municipality of Leyte on Friday, the Philippine Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The earthquake’s epicenter was found seven kilometers northeast of the municipality of Albuera. Phivolcs said it was tectonic in origin.
The quake, having a depth of two kilometers, was reported to be intensity 3 in Ormoc City, Phivolcs said. /jpv
