Some malls in Makati City close after strong quake

MANILA, Philippines — Some malls in Makati City closed ahead of the end of mall hours following the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that hit parts of Luzon on Monday.

Among the malls that have closed are Greenbelt and Glorietta, Police Colonel Rogelio Simon, chief of Makati City Police, said in a text message to reporters.


He said SM Makati and Landmark remained open as of 8 p.m. /ee
