4 students nabbed over P13K worth of shabu in QC apartelle

MANILA, Philippines — Four students were arrested for possession of P13,600 worth of shabu inside an apartelle in Quezon City on the evening of Good Friday.

The students were Zachary Benedict Almorado, 21, and James Amaro, 19; while two working students are 21-year-old Christian Miko and 19-year-old Joshua Dela Cruz.

Police Lt. Col. Giovanni Caliao, however, said they withheld the names of the schools that the students attended.

In a buy-bust operation, arresting officers caught the suspects yielding shabu inside Room 17, Jeepneyline Apartelle at Yale Street., Barangay E. Rodriguez, in Cubao, Quezon City.

Seized were 2 grams of shabu, marked money worth P500, one thin strip of aluminium foil, two disposable lighters and one coin purse.

Suspects were brought to Cubao police station for proper disposition and pending of filing of appropriate charges in court. /je
