MANILA, Philippines — Heavy traffic flow at the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) that affected thousands of motorists and commuters traveling to provinces of Luzon has eased Good Friday.
In a tweet, NLEX Corporation said that as of 7:49 a.m., traffic on all lanes and toll plazas from Balintawak to Dau was light.

This is a stark contrast to the traffic situation 24 hours ago, where vehicles were moving at a slow pace of around 20 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Meanwhile, traffic flow at SLEX has also lightened up, according to a tweet by the Manila Toll Expressways System, Inc.
