MANILA, Philippines — Travelers heading north from Metro Manila can expect a slow-moving traffic along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) on Maundy Thursday.

As of 9:18 a.m., the NLEX management said that Balintawak to Valenzuela northbound road is experiencing slow-moving traffic, approximately 20 to 40 kilometers per hour (kph), due to the influx of motorists as the long Holy Week break starts.

The traffic from Meycauayan going to Pulilan, Bulacan is also running with a speed approximately 20 to 40 kph.
